Complexity in everyday objects: Sjef
Together with Pål Espensen from minus I set out to create a design system for complex design projects. The object was cookware, to reflect the level of complexity involved when designing even the most common everyday objects. The result was Sjef Cookware, AHO works winner 2008 in the category “Design Systems”.

Sjef cookware is a kit consisting of a series of smart basic tools for small modern households. It is based upon principles of ease of use and durability in the kitchen and is developed through extensive user behavioural research. It is designed to fit both the semi professional and the un-advanced users.
More information on the design process will be added.
